Our new special issue offers theoretical and practical perspectives on how peace work can adapt to meet evolving challenges.
In this special issue, essays explore how we might sustain and adapt tested peacebuilding practices amid escalating tensions, shifting geopolitics, and diminished support; discuss how involving new technologies, innovations, or outreach to “new to peace” sectors can help revive peacebuilding practice for the future; and calls on us to more fundamentally question, re-think, and approach peacebuilding from radically different points of view.
The Special Issue on the Future of Peace was produced by War Prevention Initiative of the Jubitz Family Foundation in collaboration with the Alliance for Peacebuilding (AfP) and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies of the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. The issue was edited by WPI Director Kelsey Coolidge and AfP Senior Fellow and Keough School Visiting Professor of the Practice Peter Quaranto.
