The glossary contains concepts that are pertinent to the focal areas of the War Prevention Initiative. Some were taken over directly from the wonderful work done by the Conflict Research Consortium at the University of Colorado; those are the most commonly used conceptualizations in the field of conflict resolution; others were compiled through a variety of classical and contemporary print sources in the realm conflict resolution (e.g. Contemporary Conflict Resolution by Ramsbotham, Woodhouse and Miall, 2011)
